Services at St. Luke’s
You are warmly invited to join us for any of our services. Our Sunday schedule runs regularly throughout the month, with a slight variation on the first Sunday. For those seeking a mid-week moment of calm, the church doors are also open on Thursday evenings for self-led, quiet prayer and reflection. Please scroll down for more information.
Regular Sunday Services
8 am Holy Communion
A contemplative start to the day using modern language.
Last Sunday of the month: Book of Common Prayer.
(30–40 mins).
9 am Family Service
Interactive, relaxed and full of life. Designed specifically with young children in mind, with storytelling, Junior Choir and Holy Communion.

10.30 am Holy Communion
Our principal service with the adult choir, hymns, sermon and holy communion.

5.30 pm Said Evening Prayer
A peaceful way to end the day with spoken prayer and psalms. Book of Common Prayer.

1st Sunday of Month Services
8 am Holy Communion
As usual but also followed by coffee and pastries.
9.30 am All-Ages Holy Communion
(Replaces the 9 am & 10.30 am) A joyful, united service where the Junior Choir joins the Adult Choir. Everyone is together for this celebration.
(40 -50 mins)
5.30 pm Occasional Sung Evensong
(Replaces Said Evening Prayer) A traditional service of choral music, readings, and reflection. (60 mins).

Midweek Reflection
6 pm Thursday Quiet Hour
Self-led private meditation and reflection. Join us in the quiet sanctuary of St. Luke’s for an hour or 5 mins.

Café Services
Held on key occasions throughout the year—such as during Lent, Harvest, and Christingle—our Café Services are informal, afternoon gatherings hosted at the back of the church.
These services are genuinely multi-generational and interactive, providing a relaxed space where everyone, from the youngest children to our oldest members, can contribute, reflect, and share together. Accompanied by tea, coffee, and cake, they offer a wonderfully gentle way to celebrate the major festivals of the church calendar as a complete community.
