In the rush of a busy week, finding a moment of true stillness can be a challenge. Starting after Easter, St Luke’s will be open every Thursday evening for quiet reflection.

• The Space: This is a completely self-led hour with no formal service or direction.

• Your Time: Whether you wish to light a candle, say a private prayer, or simply sit in the beauty of the sanctuary, you are welcome to pop in for five minutes or stay for the full hour. Come as you are, and leave at your own pace.

The church is a sanctuary for everyone. You are warmly invited to use the building for quiet prayer or reflection throughout the week.

• Access: If the church doors are locked during the day, please visit the Parish Office (located in the Community Hall next door), and a member of the team will be happy to unlock the church for you.

On the fourth Sunday of each month, we offer the ministry of the ‘laying on of hands’ and Anointing during our 10:30 am service.

• The Service: After receiving Communion or a blessing, you are invited to the Lady Chapel.

• What to expect: Members of the clergy or trained lay people will gently place a hand on your head or shoulder and offer a quiet prayer for healing and wholeness.

• Urgent Prayer: For immediate needs, please email the Parish Office.

• The Prayer Chain: We have a dedicated group of parishioners who pray regularly for those in need. If you have a specific request or would like to join this ministry of intercession, please contact the Office.
