Spires
Spires helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged men and Women all year round. It operates across multiple sites throughout south London, including Stockwell, Brixton, Streatham, Tooting, West Norwood & Croydon. It is dedicated to helping those who are rough sleeping to exit homelessness and to prevent homelessness for disadvantaged and at-risk people. Spires offers breakfast each weekday morning to rough sleepers. It is seeing new people every day/week who find themselves on the streets for the first time. Spires’ Vision has always been for a community where no one is left without a home, where people are enabled to make the choices that are right for them through the support, information, advice and guidance Spires provides. It strives to keep individuals off the streets, being supported into or maintaining accommodation, to keep the community a safer place. Spires also gives assistance to women at night who are in the sex trade. It has developed a comprehensive outreach service for women engaged in street--based sex work. A specially adapted outreach vehicle operates across South London several nights a week. https://www.spires.org.uk
