The Glass Door homeless charity that St Luke's supports each year through its winter night shelter held its annual fundraising ‘Sleep Out’ on Friday 2 October – with a difference.

Throughout the evening, Glass Door’s special guests were live streaming with Jim Carter (Downton Abbey’s Mr Carson) reading participants everywhere a bedtime story and Colin Firth also taking part.  In the early hours of the morning, yoga teacher and wellness coach Nadia Mishchanka ran a ‘Rise and Shine’ session to get everyone moving again!

Take a look at www.glassdoor.org.uk to understand more about the vital work that they do - and it's needed more than ever this year.

UPDATE ON GLASS DOOR THIS YEAR

Glass Door are firming up their plans for providing a meal service from Ascension Balham Hill.  We will be helping our circuit serve dinner at Ascension on Sunday evenings from late January until early April 2021 (St Mary's Putney are doing the first half of the season), but only Glass Door professionals will have direct contact with the guests.
