Cafe Lent - Sunday 2 March 4.30pm

Come along, there will be time for music, readings, activities and prayer to help us start Lent as families together.  There will of course be plenty of tea, coffee and cake.  

Pancake Making with Lorenzo

Shrove Tuesday - 4 March from 4.30pm

Come along to make pancakes and have some fun with Lorenzo - and of course eat them! It would be good to have an idea of numbers so please do sign up on the website.

Ash Wednesday - 5 March - 8am 

Holy Communion with imposition of ashes

Lent Holy Communion followed by breakfast 

EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 8AM 

This year during Lent we will be holding communion at 8am every Wednesday in the Lady Chapel, starting on Ash Wednesday and continuing until 9 April, followed by coffee and croissants. 
A great way to start your Wednesday.  Please do come along and join us. 

Lent Groups

This year we will be reading the book Let Me Go There. The Spirit of Lent by Paula Gooder.  There will be various groups during Lent. If you would like to join one of the groups please sign up at the back of church or contact Claire in the Parish Office.

  • Monday 9.30am in The Oak Room
  • Monday 6pm with Lorenzo (Please note change of time and day)
  • Thursday 8pm to 9pm on Zoom

 There are copies of the book, £8.50 each, available from Claire in the Parish Office.

Bishop's 2025 Lent Call

Each year, the Bishop's Lent Call raises funds for local community projects in Southwark and our Link Dioceses in Zimbabwe and Jerusalem, as well as calling parishes to a time of prayer and contemplation.  This year funds are being raised for projects that focus on peace with justice in the Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East, and resilience and well-being across our Link Diocese in Zimbabwe.
