Junior Church

Junior Church takes place in the Community Hall during the 10:00 Parish Eucharist service all year - except during August. All children are in church for the first part of the service. After the first hymn they are invited to the front of the church for a prayer and then go to the following junior church groups:

Sparklers – 3 to 5* years of age                                                          *not strictly enforced

Seekers – 6 to 9* years of age                                                            *not strictly enforced

Adventers – 10 years of age and above

The children return to church in time for a blessing - at the altar rail with their parents/carers (Adventers return a little earlier for the Peace and Eucharistic Prayer).

Crèche

Baby and Toddler crèche facilities are available in the Oak Room of the Community Hall during the 10:00 Parish Eucharist service. Children may be left while parents go into the service.  Numbers are limited by the required ratio of adults to children.  You may of course stay if you prefer.

If you have a very small baby and wish to stay in church rather than using the crèche, please sit on the left hand side of the church near the front. This will ensure you have easy access to the vestry should your baby need settling during the service.
